Princess and Bee

 

I completed this 18x14 oil painting today based on a photo I took in our backyard of a princess flower bush. I really liked the bumble bee that settled into one of the petals.

Beaune France Farmers Market

 

We rushed from Fountainbleau to Beaune on a Saturday to make it in time for their farmers market.  It was well worth it because we stocked up on some incredible cheese, meats and tapenade which lasted us half of our trip.  The farmers market was vibrant, festive, and a feast for the senses.  Check out this short video at "From Pacifica With Love"
